Wright City Neighbors · legal fund · round 2
The asphalt plant is in court. We need to be in the room.
A case against the Roelker Road approval is already before the Warren County court. Based on legal guidance, the next step being considered is seeking intervention in that case — before the next Planning & Zoning meeting.
Round 1 got us a lawyer and his advice. Round 2 funds the legal work to seek intervention in the pending case. 100 households at $50 does it.

The asphalt plant is in court. Help us join the case.
A lawsuit challenging the Roelker Road asphalt plant approval is already before the Warren County Circuit Court. Based on legal guidance, the next step being considered is seeking intervention in that case — before the next Planning & Zoning meeting. Counsel will determine which individuals or entities are legally appropriate to seek intervention; supporting this effort does not make a donor or petition signer a party to the lawsuit.
Round 1 got us a lawyer and his advice; every gift was receipted and reported. Round 2 will fund the legal work necessary to seek intervention in the pending case. Round 2 goal: $5,000 — the intervention filing, the City records fees behind it, and a reserve for the next step.
